Exceptional beautiful, finely crafted mask features remnants of painting in bright colours (green, red and indigo blue). Unordinary detail: the openwork headgear shows a wheel with spokes on both sides.
A mask by the same artist was sold on May 23, 2017 as lot 88 at Bonhams Los Angeles (see AHDRC 0094453).
