wood, dark brown patina, crescent-shaped, human figure with ornamental body (mudfish) and striking big hands in the centre, rep. (breakage lid), missing parts through insect caused damage (inside), slight traces of abrasion;
may have been used to store the “edan” staffs belonging to the members of the “oshugbo” society.
