Description

wood, brown patina, completely covered with incised geometrical decor, handle-shaped tail, min. dam., slight traces of abrasion;
the leopard as symbol is known by a number of proverbs recounting it’s strength, speed, cunning and courage virtues necessary for a triumphant king. A proverb also describes the character of the king that “The rain only wets the spots on the leopard’s skin, it does not wash them off”, meaning though the king is faced with troubles his inherent qualities carry him through.
