light veined wood, remains of coating with kaolin, traces of red pigment, small eyes, short nose and clamp-like ears arranged on a rather small area, dominated by a large mouth slightly askew and with notches along lower lip, traces of metal tags, slightly dam., missing parts (eyes, ears, rim backside), fine cracks, traces of old age
