Description

base

The resonator is covered with silver plate and nails, on the sides are two round sound holes. The string holder was originally stuck in a hole in the fontanelle of the head.

The figure is probably a representation of “Seto”, which, according to legend, together with his sister “Nabo” founded the Ngbaka people by means of an incestuous relationship.
