Description

olive wood, painted in distemper on gypsum, Mary with the child flanked by two saints on the inside, a further saint on the inside of the small door wing, wooden frame and door elaborate carved with ornaments, a small brass cross attached, slightly dam., minor missing parts, door on the backside missing;
aside of Ikons of Mary scenes from the lifes of ethiopian saints were the most popular motifs of the painters.
