glass beads of different size and form, two nuts, thread on cotton fibre, large thick beads and numerous strings of small beads alternating (typical feature of the necklaces worn by Ifa priests), a semi-oval ivory pendant carved with a face in the middle, good condition;
incorporated into the ensemble is the “gbekude”, a seed from a tree sacred to “orunmila” that works to ensure a long and prosperous life for the diviner and his family.
