Description

green stone, facial featurers and limbs marked by notches, min. dam., small missing parts, slight traces of abrasion, base;
the Mezcala idols of Mesoamerica developed from objects formed like stone axes. In the course of time the differentiation of human forms was increased, but the basic elements of the axe shape were retained.
