Description

wood, dark brown patina, traces of black paint, elongated cylindrical corpus, crowned by anthropomorphic head with Yaka characteristic facial features and strong horns, slightly dam. (nose), rep. (breakage at the left horn), base;
smaller examples, like the present, were often inserted into the top of a sack bearing ingredients. Larger images often supported collars made of the jaw bones of trapped animals.
