Description

wood, lusterless reddish brown patina, unusual narrow face with angular chin and characteristic formed mouth, bulging eyebrows and slanting eyes, the face covered with incised patterns and emblems (stylized crocodile on the temples), deepend compartment with remains of blackish mass, where real hair originally was inserted, slightly dam., crack from the forehead to the back of the head, breakage diagonal across the forehead, probably rep., metal base
