Description
wood, dark brown patina, remains of kaolin and redwood powder, extensive facial plane with Grassfields-typical facial features, an open broad mouth with big teeth below, crowned by a high open worked headgear in form of stylized animals, min. dam., cracks, traces of insect caused damage;
such masks were used by the local regulatory society. Because of its weight, it was not popular with the dancers.
