iron, reddish brown lacquer, textile, helmet bell made from six steel slats, with five-parted neck guard “shikoro”, the individual lamellas fixed with blue ribbons, “hachimanza” (opening in the top) enclosed by three concentrical floral rosettes from brass, the emblem “maedate” usually attached to the front of the helmet missing, just the iron fitting preserved, lining with cotton cloth with leather edging, chinstrap from cloth tubes, slightly dam., lacquer with fine cracks and peeled off in parts, small traces of corrosion, lining torn and damaged in parts
