Description

lygodium wickerwork, polychrome paint, min. dam., small missing parts, slight traces of abrasion, metal socle;
such masks depict the “spirit of kutagwa” (a strong female spirit of the forrest). Masquerades are performed in secret during the so-called “baga celebrations”.
