Description
light-weighted wood, front and back painted in red, black and white, crowned by a small bird sculpture, a mask face in half relief on top, completed by a stylized painted body, slightly dam., minor missing parts, paint rubbed off, on metal base;
worn for ritual dances, rims decorated with white downy feathers. Paradise birds feathers, plant fibre and flower ornaments completing the head ornament.
