wood, brown patina, small remains of red and white pigment, characteristic hourglass shape, raised partly open-worked decor and engraved ornaments, intact reptile drum skin with remains of resin for tuning, two rattan rings for attachment (renewed?), rest., breakages/cracks, abrasion of paint
