This expressive object, sweating heavily in places, bears the inventory number “FC90 153” by Marc Leo Felix.

He describes the object as a “rare half-figure in the Kakudji genre”…, very cubistic, loaded with symbolic substances". The work has “Luba, Lulua and Kanyok features atop a Kete typological and stylistic foundation”.
