a) ceremonial axe, Western Highlands, polished wooden shaft, l: 49 cm, T-shaped head piece, blade from greyish stone and blade replica from wood to both sides, fixed by cuff from animal skin, slightly dam., crack; b) spear thrower, Sepik, l: 67,5 cm, tubular bamboo shaft with abutment carved from wood, fixed by rattan cuff, slightly dam.; c) bow, nippa palmwood, l: 152 cm, bowstring from split bamboo; two arrows, bamboo shafts with inserted wooden tips, one with barbs, fixed by rattan, l: 122/126 cm; additional: d) bird head club, New Caledonia, Kanak, l: 83,5 cm, heavy wood, massive round shaft, club head dam.
