a) short sword, Yaka, metal hilt partly, wooden sheath completely stretched with leather, blade chased on both sides, l: 72,5 cm; b) short sword, Azande, handle wrapped with metal bands, elaborate wooden sheath with ornamental rattan covering, band of plaited plant fibres, l: 75,5 cm; c) Luba, light wooden sheath and handle, tulip-shaped blade, punched on both sides, l: 60 cm; d) Lobala, sickle-shaped handle, wooden sheath covered with reptile skin (missing parts), l: 39,5 cm; all with slight traces of usage and corrosion
