wood, stained brown patina, encrusted in some areas, habile handle, crowning figure with cavity in the head, slightly dam., crack, abrasion of paint, metal base;
certainly from the staff of a dignitary; not only kings and regional sovereigns, but also village chiefs and clan elders disposed of such staffs as administrative signs.
