Description

ivory, polished, dark pigment rubbed into the deepenings, delicate carving, european clothing: tailcoat with banded collar, long trousers and footwear, holding a stoneware jug in his hands; the face with broad nose and filed incisors, as well as the headdress of african style, slightly dam., minor chips at the base, cracks, base;
it may have formed part of the handle of a flywhisk.
