light wood, honey brown patina, black paint, small remains of red pigment, crowned by a standing male ancestor figure, the shaft carved with two further stylized figures (probably representing the primordial couple), both motifs linked by graceful ornaments, slightly dam., abrasion of paint;
objects with human effigies were owned and used only by men of importance.
