Description
wood, dark brown patina, remains of patina, incised decor, area of the head provided with resin-like mass inset with abrus seeds (mainly missing), necklace with shell and metal disc pendants, min. dam., traces of insect caused damage, cracks, base.
This type of cup was used during ceremonial sacrifices and funeral rites to drink beer or palm wine. The double bowl enables two people to drink at once.
