Description

two bottles wrapped in several layers of cord, various objects inserted: metal chains, small wooden figures and human jaw bone, cowrie shells attached, completely covered by a thick layer of kaolin, blue pigment remains, min. dam., cracks, slight traces of abrasion;
prestige object of the “bokono” priest. Most of the bottles that have been collected or museified are empty today, bottles that are currently in use contain a mixture of alcohol and herbs. Each priest has its own secret recipe.
