Description

wood, reddish brown patina, indigo blue and white pigment, two metal rings, two strings of glass beads, striking large diamond-shaped eyes with inlaid pupils, flat nose and notched mouth, tapering coiffure with longitudinal grooves, traces of old age (cape), slightly dam.;
the endowment of figures with cowrie shell capes should indicate the high regard paid to the deceased by his family, and should demonstrate the wealth of the family as well.
