wood, middle brown patina, indigo blue pigment, encrustations with clay-like mass, abundantly adorned with various strings of miniature glass beads and tiny coconut discs, three cowrie shells around wrist, metal tag pupils preserved, very fine work of carving, especially the delicate facial features and the coiffure, beautiful profile, rich skin scarifications, crosshatches around the base, facial features abraded through repeated feeding procedures, abrasion of paint (coiffure), crack (base)
