Description

wood, blackish brown patina, encrusted in some areas, four strings with miniature glass beads, cowrie snails attached, a fine grooved crested coiffure, delicate facial features with characteristic tribal marks and drilled pupils, slightly dam., sign of the carver at the bottom of the base, slightly dam., missing parts through insect caused damage (right hand, back, base), paint rubbed off, drilled ear holes for ornament broken out
