A comparable figure from the collection Roger F. Azar was published in 1979 by Neyt, L’Art Eket (Fig. 7). Another figure of this type was once owned by Merton D. Simpson (1928-2013), New York City, USA (AHDRC 0090269). A third marionette figure from the Helmut Zake Collection was offered on January 26, 2019 as lot 129 at Native, Brussels.


The object Female puppet figure, late 19th century with the object ID 3045616 was part of the auction 92nd Tribal Art Auction on June 29, 2019. The object with the lot number 152 achieved a sales price of EUR 2,400 with an asking price of EUR 2,000.
