Description

light coloured wood, stained brown patina, red pigment, arm- and legless child, attached to the back by twisted plant fibre tied across the breast, rectangular opening in the abdomen, filled with magical substances, slightly dam., missing part (right foot tip), cracks, strong abrasion, on base;
assigned to the Bembe, but shows stylistic characteristics of the Teke as well.
