Description

wood, greyish brown patina, encrusted sacrificial patina, animal horn with inserted red cloth in the parting, small drilled holes at knees and shoulders, slightly dam., missing parts (right foot), rep. (left foot);
the figure represents a diviner’s tutelary ancestral spirit. The horn serves as a plug for the supernatural materials that activate the spirit represented by the sculpture.
