Description
wood, encrusted brown patina, of cylindrical form with resonance hole, band ornament, animal drum skin, min. dam., missing parts through insect caused damage (bottom), fine cracks, traces of abrasion;
the drum is held against the chest and played while performing complicated dance steps. The drummer might be accompanied by an individual playing a thumb piano and ankle ratlles.
