Beakers of comparable shape, with foot and indented wall, as well as the fine linear incised decoration, are known from early collections.
A very similar example comes from the collection of Max Pellequer (1883-1974), a friend of Picasso’s, and was acquired by him in the 1920s (cf. AHDRC 0124140).
