Description

wood, slightly encrusted dark brown patina, metal sheet, in shape of an abstract figure with horns, incised geometrical decor, complete with cross-bolt, min. dam., slight traces of usage, base;
locks of this type are of North African and Islamic origin. This finely carved example offered the protective power of ancestral spirits to the granary it guarded.
