Description

pumpkin, brown patina, elongated form, strings of glass beads with cowrie snails coating the upper half of the pumpkin, min. dam., slight traces of abrasion;
such dolls were carried on the back together with the child and were thought to attract it’s attention by their colourfulness and the rattling sounds they made.
