wood, shiny blackish patina, elongated upper part of the body, the arms shortened with both hands up to the breast, delicate facial features with heavy-weighted three-parted coiffure and projecting ears, carved with incised concentrical ornaments, slightly dam., missing parts (left hand), rep. (both tighs), on base;
the Bane are a subgroup of the Fang, living close to the Mabea.
