Description

wood, dark brown patina, black paint, crowned by a human head with projecting shock of hair, unusual: a kind of cover plate across the eye-zone, collection number in black paint backside: “1256 AFG”, slightly dam. (coiffure rim zones), abrasion of paint, base;
chief staffs were frequently decorated with figures and heads, they were regarded as insignias of social rank.
