wooden core, nearly entirely coated with leather, painted in black, accents in red and white pigment, expressive facial features with protruding eyes, tongue stretched out and projecting ears, coiffure made from animal skin, on wickerwork base, min. dam., small missing parts (base), slight traces of abrasion;
like the neighbouring Ekoi, Ejagham and other Cross River people the Boki cultivated the tradition of headhunting
