Nil Orange, born in 1968, was born in Oberpfalz and came to Würzburg through his studies in 1990. By profession communications designer, he has been active as a draughtsman and artist since his youth. Exhibitions in Cham, Würzburg and Buenos Aires. In his pictures one finds echoes of symbolism and magical realism. The artist refers to the tradition of de Chirico and incorporates the influences of illustrators, cartoonists and comic book artists such as Tullio Pericoli, Glen Baxter and Moebius.
