Description
wood, matt middle brown (washing) patina, indigo blue pigment, encrustations with camwood powder, the female figure abundantly adorned (strings of glass beads and coconut discs, cowrie shells), prominent faces with large eyes, broad tripartite nose and “fishmouth”, tribal marks on the face, drilled pupils (metal tags missing), slightly dam., traces of insect caused damage (base of the male figure on the backside), rep. at the same place (breakage)
