This club commonly referred to as a “gunstock” club by Westerners because of its supposed resemblance to a musket. The shape, however, is said to be based on the clawed sali flower, a wild banana-like plant.


The object Club “sali” with the object ID 3050075 was part of the auction 101st Auction on November 11, 2023. The object with the lot number 36 achieved a sales price of EUR 1,700 with an asking price of EUR 1,500.
