Description

metal, wood, punched leather sheath, hour glass-shaped hilt, rough-textured indigo-blue cotton cloth in four strings for support, min. dam., slight traces of usage, base;
the typical sword-knives with squared-off blades are both weapons and signs of rank and prestige. They are also used at burials of great chieftains by dancers. The metal tones of the swords being struck against each other accompany the dark beat of the drums.
