wood, greyish brown patina, encrusted with clay, carved with an anthropomorphic head, a smaller head backside, dam., minor missing parts, on metal plate;
the novices should fall into a state of trance by touching the “sakbata” club. “Sakbata” is the god of smallpox. A goddess imposing illness or healing on man. When disregarded he punishes people with epidemic.
