Description

wood, matt black patina, female figure with compact upper part of the body, legs in flat relief amalgamated with the disc-shaped base, rich decor with tribal marks on the belly, big tooth-revealing mouth with filed incisors, slightly dam. (nose, breast, navel), minor missing parts, cracks, rep. (base/fixed with metal clamps);
caryatid figures often bear representations of cosmetic manipulations that are thought to enhance beauty and erotic pleasure.
