Description

brass with patina, decorated with twelve human faces and arch-shaped ornaments, min. dam., small missing parts, traces of corrosion;
worn by kings, priests and “oshogbo” officials, used as burial objects as well. Nowadays they are sometimes displayed on family altars, serving as ring-shaped support for calabashs.
