Description

wood, reddish brown patina, black paint, kaolin, remains of indigo blue pigment, male/female, striking slender bodies with fine carved scarifications and ornamental decor, round bulging eyes, pupils with black inlay, facial features strongly abraded (due to the regular applying of food offerings and innumerable face washings), slightly dam., old missing parts (body of the female on the right/crown of the male figure).
