wood, red, white and black pigment, transition area shaft/blade with ornamental engravings, inserted obsidian blade fixed by wrapping with fine cord material and parinarium nut paste, mass with Job’s tear grass seeds at the shaft, handwritten collection number in red paint at the same place “L. 135:237”, crack (upper rim of wooden case), patina of the shaft rubbed off in parts/shaft end dam.
