trapezoidal board-like wickerwork of rattan slats with reinforced rims, finely woven arrow case, min. dam., traces of usage.
These so-called arrow-case shields or shield quivers hung from the neck of its user, covering his back and supposedly protecting him from arrows from the rear. To get an arrow, he reached over his shoulder into the opening of the bag.
