Description

wood, encrusted blackish brown patina, clay-like mass, red pigment, tube of fabric embroidered with cowrie shells diadem-like framing the head, nose and massive cheek projections modelled with clay-like mass and stud with four animal horns and tufts of animal hair, inscribed on the backside: “I.2.10A101”, mass partly broken/cracked, some cowrie shells missing, abrasion/traces of usage backside, base
