The “idimu” mask is owned collectively and is kept by an approriate member of “yananio” or “kindi”.

In a major performance, the “idimu” is hung from a fence “pala” surrounded by all the smaller, individually owned “lukwakongo” masks that belong to those in attendance.

The object Anthropomorphic mask “idimu” with the object ID 3052294 was last part of the auction Auction 105 at November 15, 2025 on Zemanek-Münster Auction house and had the lot number 352.
