The “idimu” mask is owned collectively and is kept by an approriate member of “yananio” or “kindi”.
In a major performance, the “idimu” is hung from a fence “pala” surrounded by all the smaller, individually owned “lukwakongo” masks that belong to those in attendance.
The object Anthropomorphic mask “idimu” with the object ID 3052294 was part of the auction Auction 105 on November 15, 2025, lot number 352 at that time and is currently available for EUR 1,500 in Open sale.
