wood, brown patina, white and red pigment, box shape, face with lowered eyelids, grooved decor, slightly dam., minor missing parts (backside), cracks, abrasion of paint, base;
possibly representing “La belle Madeleine” - supposed to be a Catholic nun or “Mama Maria” - supposed to be the Virgin Mary.
